Creating a healthy relationship requires intention. And the littlest things that you can do every day make the biggest difference.

Clinical and life coach Mollie Birney shares the habits of healthy couples that you, too, can apply to strengthen your relationships.

Tune in to this episode: Habits of Healthy Couples with Mollie Birney.

Key points covered in this episode:

✔️ Words are powerful. Give casual compliments. Acknowledge your partner’s help and every instance they do something right.

✔️ Requests and responses matter. Make requests of each other. Respond to them from a place of service, not of sacrifice. If it’s not a clear yes, then it’s a no.

✔️ Healthy couples have difficult conversations. They share hard truths and lead these talks with concern. Establish trust to avoid leaving dark and untouched topics. Be more curious about the root of issues than the symptom.

✔️ Give each other feedback. Affirm your partner when they respect your boundaries and make an effort to improve.

✔️ Start from awareness. If you make a mistake, don’t beat yourself up for it. Notice it without judgment. Be curious as to why you keep repeating these bad habits.
