"We're so passionate about what we do in our work, in our business that we do talk about ideas and business and creativity a lot. We've experimented with boundaries, but because we're such hardcore entrepreneurs running multiple businesses serving thousands of people, in some ways, it feels a little inauthentic to NOT talk about business. As perceivers in personality, Pisces, and free spirits, we are in the flow of our creativity all the time. We also just kind of talk about everything."
✔️ Respect each other's rhythms. For Marisa, her mornings are her time to create. "I like to wake up and just be in my creative zone, and I don't talk to anyone for a while. I need to be alone in my zone, and my husband gets it."
✔️ Squeeze in moments in the daily grind and make sure to give enough attention and energy to each other. The couple commits to taking walks during mornings and afternoons to breathe, connect, eat together, and watch a film to look forward to at night.
✔️ Those sweet little moments make such a difference for our partners rather than the grand gestures. Some relationships end up being off in their different worlds and expect the vacation to bring them together. Without those daily stitching of moments, a bigger gap will need to be crossed in the future.
✔️ Being in a business and a relationship are the biggest self-development paths that exist. For Marisa, running companies and building a legacy with her spouse is the best experience to learn, grow, and evolve together.
