Every love story is unique, and so are the ways on how to stay in love. In this episode, international brand makeover expert and social media branding phenomenon Briana Dai lets us in on the lessons on what it's like to find love at 19 and the gifts, challenges and wisdom she has gained along the way.

Key points covered in this episode:

✔️ Young and in love. Briana shares how her husband has been a part of every chapter of her life and career since they got together from age 19. "We've managed to do a lot of growing up together and thankfully doing it together and not apart over the years."

✔️ Learn to break those toxic traits we bring into disagreements.  Many people identify with how challenging it can be to fight or disagree in a productive and constructive way. It takes a conscious decision to learn to do that and know how to fight fair.

✔️ We water our plants on Tuesdays, and we water our marriage.

Briana emphasizes the importance of having a regular check-in time for couples. Set a day when you can pour into the marriage and have an intentional conversation. "It's the day that things get addressed so that they don't never get addressed. It's not just let me poo-poo on all the things you did that annoyed me or what you did wrong -- it's what did you do that meant a lot to me this past week or something that I would love more of?"

✔️ Becoming a parent brings physical, emotional and mental changes that affect marriages. "Everything we went through with postpartum depression is something not talked about much. Pregnancy is depicted as an amazing glowing period in time, which was not my experience, and it was kind of scary to go through that. That was a challenge and uncharted territory that we had to work through and overcome together."
